The keynote speaker who was also the guest of honor Dr. J.A. Aluoch, the Chairman of the HIV Clinicians Society, gives his speech during the World AIDS Day held at Kenya Science Campus.
The University Of Nairobi marked the World Aids Day on December 1 2016 at Kenya Science Campus. The theme for this tear was hands up for HIV prevention (lets engage, prevent and celebrate). The Deputy Principal Kenya Science Campus gave a welcome speech followed by the Chief Medical Officer. The Vice Chancellor was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research, Production and Extension, Prof. Lucy Irungu who read his speech.
The keynote address was delivered by the guest of honor Dr. J.A. Aluoch, the Chairman of the HIV Clinicians Society.
Activities of the day included HIV testing and counseling, breast and cervical cancer screening.
There was music and entertainment.
