HIV/AIDS AND ALCOHOL DRUG ABUSE SENSATIZATION ACTIVITY FOR STAFF AT KENYA SCIENCE CAMPUS ON 30/05/2017

The Deputy Principal, Kenya Science Campus, Prof. Horace Ochanda addressing the HIV/AIDS AND ADA sensitization event  at Kenya Science Campus.

 

The above event was held on 30/5/2017 in Old Common Room at Kenya Science Campus. The facilitators Felix K. Kotut, Francis Cheng’oli (Counselor, Clinic), Jennifer Too(Clinical Officer), Dr.Pamela Lunjalu(Students Counselor) and Samson Mutinda (Ass. Dean of students) educated the participants on HIV/ADA and PEP/ PrEP therapies, Alcohol Drug Abuse(ADA), use of contraceptives and behavior change respectively.

Ms. Jennifer Too gave opening remarks on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) while the Deputy Pricipal, Kenya Science Campus, Prof. Horace Ochanda gave the closing speech. He commended the Kenya Science Campus HIV/AIDS and ADA team for conducting  such succusful events and encouraged for more in order to meet the University of Nairobi performance contract requirement.
