Advocating for University student Reproductive Health in Kenya science campus University of Nairobi

It’s not always easy to speak with young people about sensitive topics, such as reproductive health . Professors from the school of Public health headed by professor Ongore visited the campus on 4th Sept 2014

To take Kenya science students through a discussion on their reproductive health , they touched on how to distinguishing among values, beliefs and facts on reproductive health, Managing personal beliefs, personal values and facts, among other sexual related discussions.

The goal of the talk was to strengthen skills for identifying and communicating about challenging topics in reproductive health among the peers. This was to strengthen the students and make them able to describe the difference between a fact, a belief, and a value; and Identify sources of medically accurate reproductive health information.
