Fr. Kaigua reflecting on University of Nairobi successes of 2018


The University of Nairobi community gathered at Taifa Hall for the 2nd Annual Prayer Day on Thursday; January 10, 2018. The Interdenominational prayer day was led by the University chaplains Rev. Hosea Mitei; the Protestant Chaplain and Fr. Kaigua the Catholic chaplain. Prayers were offered by students and staff from the Catholic, Protestant, Muslim and Hindu faith.

During the prayer session, Fr. Kaigua led the University fraternity in reflecting about the successful events the University held in 2018, key among them the successful launch of the UoN Satellite, International conferences like the Blue Economy and Ruforum among others. 

The Prayer Day was set aside as a time for reflection, thanksgiving and dedication of 2019 activities to God. Staff and students across all Colleges attended the Interdenominational Prayer Day.
